A tangible way we can reduce homelessness is by connecting households living in tenancies at risk of failure to targeted support early to address the challenges they are experiencing, so they can sustain their tenancies and keep a roof over their heads.
Last night, WIN News across Queensland highlighted our latest research into tenancies at risk in the Australasian market, whilst showcasing the incredible results CASA Mackay is achieving in tenancy sustainment for clients who have received an early intervention referral from their property managers, with consent, via PM Assist.
With more than 1,900 Queensland tenancies currently identified as at risk of failure by property managers overseeing just over 26,000 tenancies, there is an extraordinary opportunity to scale up this early intervention pathway to prevent homelessness.
