So far in December, in 13 work days, 13 households in tenancies at risk of failing have been referred by their property managers, with their consent, to community services to support them in the challenges they are experiencing.
All with the shared goal of tenancy sustainment to prevent these households from becoming vulnerable to homelessness.
With referrals occurring in the Mackay, Moreton Bay, and Ipswich communities this month, our online early intervention referral portal is expanding. Made possible by the support from the local real estate industry and the community sector in each community, engaging in this vital cross-sector initiative.
