Thanks to a generous contribution from the Toowoomba Regional Council via their Community Support Grant, the Tenancy Skills Institute is excited to deliver our tenancy education courses in person at the Toowoomba Housing Hub in July and August 2025.
Open to Toowoomba community members, our courses offer the opportunity to learn practical ‘how-to’ tenancy skills, including how to apply for a rental property and successfully sustain the tenancy when you receive the keys!

Introduction to Renting (short course): A free 2 hour overview of rental processes and key documents within a tenancy. Topics include effective communication, rights and responsibilities, cleaning, budgeting & sharing with others.
Monday 21st July, 11.00am – 1.00pm
Friday 8th August, 11.00am – 1.00pm Skillsets for Successful Tenancies (full course): A free 2 day course covering five modules: Effective Communication, Renter Rights and Responsibilities, Renting with Others, Cleaning and Maintaining a Rental Property, and Finances and Budgeting.
